Such a Problem
What is it?
Spam is an uninvited email or message that one may receive. Spam takes up time and costs money. It can use up bandwidth and SMS messages. One can spend a lot of time sorting through regular and spam mail. Spam is also a way malware spreads and can be used for fraud.
First off, DO NOT REPLY! Replying to a spam message only confirms that one's email address or phone number is real and working, which is what spammers are looking for. Use spam filters on your email to prevent spam. Lastly, try one-use email addresses when signing up for websites or have two separate emails, one personal, and one email one uses to sign up with.
