It's coming... We will be supporting you with this. Here are the Directions for Creating Progress Report Comments Page
This year all CHCCS elementary schools will be sending home progress reports using the PowerSchool reporting system. The progress report will be a mid-quarter print out of the report card. Because the comment-section in PowerSchool is dedicated to the report cards, teachers will be using the below template to generate comments for the progress report to send home to parents.
Steps:
Fill in the following student-information cells at the top of the page: school, grade level, and teacher’s name.
Copy and paste the information on the first page, including the document title, student-information boxes, and Quarter 2 box for each student on your roster with a non-proficient score on any reported standard. For other students, this comments document is optional.
Now, fill in the student’s name in the first cell of the student- information boxes on each page.
Type your progress report comments in the Quarter 2 Comments cell for each student on their corresponding page.
For each quarter that follows (quarters 3 and 4) you will insert a cell above the comments box so the most current quarter’s comment is on top.
Example:
Quarter 4 Comments:
Quarter 3 Comments:
Quarter 2 Comments:
Cogat Testing dates
Fourth grade (2 students!) 11/19, 11/20
Third grade (ALL) 12/3, 12/4, 12/5
Fifth grade (some) 12/11, 12/12
Message from HR
Greetings, colleagues!
I wanted to reach out to you for assistance. Open enrollment for our state health plan will end on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Please make sure that all of our colleagues have the opportunity to complete open enrollment. The support center has extended hours this weekend. Please make sure that all our of CHCCS employees have this information, especially those that may not check email as frequently. Thanks in advance for your assistance in this matter and ensuring that all of our employees have the opportunity to complete enrollment. For those that do not complete enrollment, their health plan will default to the 70/30 plan and there will be a $60 charge for tobacco use (whether employees use tobacco or not). These changes go into effect on January 1, 2020. These new changes will be deducted from the January 2020 paycheck and paychecks going forward.
Thanks for helping us spread the word! If anyone needs special assistance, we are more than happy to help. Please let us know before Tuesday at 5:00 PM.
