Coolidge Yearbook Cover Contest
Yearbook Cover Design Contest
Entries due by December 11, 2019
All Coolidge Elementary students are invited to enter our Yearbook Cover Design Contest. Coolidge teachers and staff will vote on the finalists. The winning design will appear on the cover of the yearbook and one winner from each grade will be chosen to appear on the back.
How to submit your artwork:
Please submit your artwork on an 8 1/2 x 11 white sheet of paper or cardstock.
Artwork should be done with VERTICAL orientation- NOT horizontal.
Write your name on the BACK of the design in pencil with grade and teacher name.
Do not fold your paper, it must be wrinkle free for submission. Turn design in with this entry form attached with a paper clip- no staples.
All entries must include:
The theme for the yearbook design is “Calvin is a Super Hero!” and must include our school mascot Calvin the Cougar. What is Calvin’s Super Power? Designs should show Calvin and his Super Power in action! There are lots of possibilities, so be creative and have fun!
Our school name Coolidge Elementary School should be at the top or bottom of the design and the school year 2019-20 should be underneath.
Tips for a good entry:
Don’t leave a lot of white space. Fill the page with color and fun- including the background!
You can use crayons, colored pencils or markers for the design- the brighter the colors the better!
