Chromebooks are here...
- VERY IMPORTANT: Please make sure that you have filled out the Chromebook Damage/Loss Form and paid your $20 Insurance Fee. Please return completed forms and fees to the front office.
- Some families like to purchase a hard shell case cover for their child's chromebook. This is completely up to you, but it will help protect the Chromebook throughout the year. Here is a link to a hard shell case cover that works well! Later this fall, we will provide soft covers to new students and 6th-graders.
- If you child is cleaning his or her Chromebook, please remember to use only computer safe cleaning wipes that can be used on the keyboard and screen. Some products can scratch or damage the device.
- Please set up a charging station at home to ensure a fully charged Chromebook is brought to school each day. We do not want student chargers at school. We highly recommend you set up charging away from your student's bedroom.
- Last, but not least, please remind your child(ren) that the school-issued Chromebooks are for academic purposes. The device is tied to school district accounts and should be used for academics. In the event that this Chromebook is used inappropriately, your child can be held responsible.
- We are very honored and excited to be a future ready school in the Beaverton School District!
Congratulations!
