ETHICS TRAINING 2020
ALL CADDO EMPLOYEES:
According to Louisiana Statue R.S. 42:1170A, all public employees must complete
ONE HOUR of Ethics Training every year. This training is provided online. To receive the
required training, go to http://eap.ethics.la.gov/ethicstraining/login.aspx and
register as a new user. Once you register, login to complete the required three
sections.
Upon completion of the three sections, a certificate will be issued which
you can print or save a copy. Please print your certificate and give a copy to Mrs. Karen Miller.
LET'S ALL COMPLETE THE ETHICS TRAINING FOR 2020 BEFORE JANUARY 31, 2020.

- MONDAY, MARCH 9 - NO FACULTY MEETING
- Please check your email at least 2 times per day (morning and afternoon)...especially during weeks when there is no Faculty Meeting - ADMIN will send important info through email
- MONDAY, MARCH 9 - SPRING BOOK FAIR BEGINS
- WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11 - PRE-K ROUND-UP
- WEDNESDAY, March 11 - APPLE CERTIFICATION TRAINING with Mr. Leron Burris, CPPS Instructional Technologis - Library Computer Room (Grade levels needing to attend will be announced)
- THURSDAY, MARCH 12 - PLCs with ADMIN in B-2 (PLANNING - BRING YOUR LESSON PLAN BINDER AND ANY INFO NEEDED TO PLAN FOR THE UPCOMING WEEK)
- FRIDAY, MARCH 13 - HONOR ROLL SHEETS ARE DUE
- MONDAY, MARCH 16 - REPORT CARDS GO HOME
- THURSDAY, MARCH 19 - HONOR ASSEMBLIES
- TEACHERS - PLEASE REPLENISH YOUR 5 DAYS OF SUB PLANS IMMEDIATELY (subs are reporting for jobs and no work has been left for them or your sub plans have already been used)
- TEACHERS - PLEASE DO NOT SEND SPED STUDENTS BACK TO CLASS WHEN THEY REPORT TO YOUR CLASSROOMS. STUDENTS MUST HAVE TIME IN REG ED CLASSES AS WRITTEN/STATED IN THEIR IEPS (please see ADMIN or Mrs. Jackson if you are having issues)
- MATH TEACHERS !!! WE MUST IMPROVE OUR USE OF ZEARN! Please make certain that you are accessing and viewing your Zearn accounts weekly. Students must complete at least 4 lessons per week. KEEP UP THE LESSON PACING.
- Grades 1-5 - ALL TOPIC QUIZZES (ZEARN) MUST BE ENTERED INTO ILLUMINATE
- SCHEDULE FOR GRADE LEVEL MEETINGS, PLCs, DATA MEETINGS
- 1st Wed - Grade Level Meeting (teacher led)
- 1st Thurs - PLC or Data Meeting w/ADMIN

- PLEASE REVIEW YOUR CLASSROOMS RULES AND EXPECTATIONS DAILY! MANY STUDENTS NEED THIS REMINDER EVERY DAY. DON'T FORGET TO COMMUNICATE WITH PARENTS AS NEEDED.
- IF YOU NEED TO REFER STUDENTS TO THE OFFICE - PLEASE SEND THE REFERRAL WITH THE STUDENT. STUDENTS ARE BEING SENT TO THE OFFICE AND WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT CONCERN NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. ALSO, PLEASE CONTACT THE PARENT(S)...CALL OR DOJO.
- IF THE STUDENT JUST NEEDS A TIME OUT - PLEASE SEND THE STUDENT ALONG WITH THE 30 MINUTE TIME OUT PASS TO MRS. KIRKENDOLL - call the office if an escort is needed.
- PLEASE REFRAIN FROM PLACING STUDENTS ON THE HALLWAY...students are not monitored when they are on the hallway. If something happens to students as they are not being monitored, you will be held responsible.
- Students need a hall pass when they have your permission to be out of class. Students should not be on the hallways or in the office without a hall or office pass. If you don't have a standard hall or office pass, please write HALL or OFFICE Pass on a slip of paper.
- Please monitor students in the restrooms (girls and boys).
- NEW THIS YEAR!!! - JEANS EVERY FRIDAY (no holes, tears, rips, or frays) - MUST BE WORN WITH A FHE T-SHIRT - NO EXCEPTIONS (unless announced).
