Join the Autism Society of the Chippewa Valley for a night of networking, resource sharing, and lively discussion. The goal of the community conversation will be to discover what is going well for individuals and families affected by autism or other disabilities in the Chippewa Valley area and what could be going better. The information gathered will be used to guide local decision making and identify program priorities for the Autism Society. The goal is to engage as many voices as possible so please spread the word and join us!

Family to Family Program
NAMI Chippewa Valley is offering its Family-to-Family Program to families, caregivers and friends of individuals with mental illness.
The course is designed to:
· help understand mental illness
· increase coping skills
· empower participants
Sept. 11 – Dec. 11*, 2019
Wednesdays 6:00-8:30 pm
Held in Eau Claire.
(*This final class date is tentative.)
There is no cost to participants!

Cardinal Care
Cardinal Care is a Student and Family Assistance Program (SFAP). This program, offered at no cost to you, will provide up to 4 counseling sessions to each family in the school district. The district has partnered with REALiving, a local provider, to coordinate these services.

Wisconsin Transition Academy
Registration is now open for the 2019 Wisconsin Statewide Transition Academy on October 15th, held at the Wilderness Glacier Canyon Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells!
The Transition Academy events will be packed with information relating to all areas of transition. This conference is perfect for all, whether you are an educator, paraprofessional, parent, youth, or agency member.

UW LIFE Opening This Fall!
UW-Whitewater LIFE (Learning is for Everyone) will provide a complete college experience for young adults between the ages of 18-25 who have an intellectual disability. With ample supports, specialized instruction, residential living, and community integration, the program will serve a critical need in our region and community.
UW-Whitewater LIFE will have an Open House on Friday, October 4th where families can visit campus, learn more about the program, and meet our students and staff. Register here!
