Registration 2021-2022

Dear Clover Bar Junior High Families.

A reminder that the registration process for the 2021-2022 school year will soon be opening. All students, from Kindergarten to grade 12, even those who are returning to the same school, must register beginning February 1, 2021 at 9:00 am. This process will remain open until February 28th, 2021. All necessary links for this process will be added on the EIPS Division website and all current families will receive an email with the link and instructions for returning student registration.

Please remember, this is the same timeline for application to a non-designated school.

While many schools have closed boundaries and are not able to accept non-designated students, Clover Bar Junior High has open boundaries and we are able to accommodate most applications for non-designated students to our school.

In addition, we offer the Sport for Life program which requires completion of the non-designated school process if you are currently not designated to attend Clover Bar Junior High. More information about this program, and the registration process will be shared with interested families shortly. We are planning to host a virtual information meeting for any interested families on Tuesday, January 26 at 6:00 p.m.

As always, if you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to reach out to the school and we will be happy to assist you.

Sports for Life Program for 2020-2021

Clover Bar Junior High School is excited to announce that we will be continuing to offer our Sport for Life program for the 2020-21 school year. The program, which is open to all students in grades 7 to 9, gives students the chance to enhance their skills in athletics, academics and leadership while also developing habits and attitudes for an active healthy lifestyle.

The Sport for Life program is based on the Canadian Sport for Life (CS4L) model, a movement to improve the quality of sport and physical activity in Canada through improved athlete training and better integration between all stakeholders in the sport system, including sport organizations, education, recreation and health.

Woven into a physical education framework, some of the topics of study include health and nutrition, personal development, self and team evaluation, sports injuries, sports leadership, sport psychology, sport-specific training, sports-related careers.

Interested in the Sport for Life program at Clover Bar Junior High? Please join us on Tuesday, January 26th at 6:00 pm for our Virtual Information night.

Please watch for details to follow.

You can also find more information about S4L on our website at CLB Sport for Life or call us directly at school at 780-467-2295
