STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR 2019-2020
Rock Hill, S.C. – Rock Hill Schools will open online registration for new students and 5-year-old Kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year on Monday, May 6. Registration/re-enrollment for current students will open on Monday, June 24. Applications are currently being accepted for the district's 4-Year-Old Kindergarten program by visiting Central Child Development Center.
The convenient, online process will allow parents to update information from the comfort of their home before attending orientation sessions at their child’s school. The district is pleased to offer this service to its families as a way to speed up the registration process.
By completing the registration in advance, parents and guardians will be able to quickly move through the orientation and course/class schedule pickup dates to be held later at each school.
As the registration date draws closer, parents of current students will receive an e-mail with additional instructions to guide them through the online registration process. Parents and guardians will be able you to provide up-to-date information related to emergency contacts, phone numbers and e-mail addresses, transportation preferences, and more.
We invite families in need of assistance, whether it is a question or access to Internet, to visit any of our schools after online registration opens. Computer access is also available at the York County Library, and many areas in our community offer free WiFi that would allow you to access the Internet to complete the online registration.NO CHALLENGER JUNE 3RD & 4TH
We are currently distributing and collecting Challenger enrollment for both new and returning students. We do not need new account information unless the banking changed, but authorization to draft and registration forms must be completed. We will collect here until May 24th, but after this date parents will need to submit at the Central Office in person.
If you are in need childcare over the summer, Challenger has a great program. Click here or on the picture below to go ahead and register!
EVERY KID IN A PARK PROGRAM
Hey fourth graders! See America’s natural wonders and historic sites for free. You and your family get free access to hundreds of parks, lands, and waters for an entire year. Explore ancient dwellings. See a waterfall taller than a building. Stay close to home, or travel somewhere new. This year's the perfect time for an unforgettable outing.
This is a program that was brought back to my attention. Thank you Mrs. Kingsford!! Go to the link, click "Play" in the 4th graders box, and follow a few short steps to print your family's free pass. Then, thank your 4th grader for being a 4th grader!
Your children will have a packed full schedule at school each day. I do my best to get started as close to 7:45 as possible. It is best if students are at school by 7:30 each morning. This will allow students time to unpack and ready themselves for the day. If your child needs to get breakfast at school, they should arrive by, at least, 7:15.
