Academic All America and Scholar Team Accomodations
Note: Marney Shirley will be available to answer questions regarding Academic All America and Scholar Team at this email address only: mtshirley49@gmail.com from June 3rd thru June 15
NISCA is making accommodations so that you are able to participate in its academic programs during the COVID pandemic. Read on to find out how you can still be an Academic All America athlete or a Scholar Team.
Academic All America and Scholar Team applications are being accepted for students and teams that are not competing due to COVID. You must meet the other requirements for the award. The coach will sign the form to verify that you would have lettered had you been able to compete. Contact Marney Shirley at aamerican@niscaonline.org or aaacademics@niscaonline.org for details.
Scholar Team is offering a Combined Scholar Team Award to those teams that do not meet the 12 member minimum requirement to apply but if combined with the team of the opposite gender in their school they could. Please contact Marney Shirley at aamerican@niscaonline.org or aaacademics@niscaonline.org for details.
If your Scholar Team cannot meet the 12 member minimum requirement to apply for the award due to COVID restrictions Contact Marney Shirley at aamerican@niscaonline.org or aaacademics@niscaonline.org for details on how you may still submit an application.

NISCA Journal Submissions - Send them in!
Share your quotes, stories, articles (yours or someone else's), ideas, products (think "training equipment and gizmos"). Send it to us at journal@niscaonline.org with SUBMISSION in the subject line. Be as detailed as you like, feel free to send photos or documents, and be sure to include your name, school, city/state, and what your coaching title is (or "Retired"). There's no such thing as "too lengthy", "too detailed", or "TMI", but we draw the line at obvious advertising of goods or services.
BUT... if you are interested in advertising or selling something, contact us with ADVERTISING in the subject line. We're always interested in products or services that can help the coaching community!
Call for team photos
If you have good team or other interesting photos of your team, swimmers, action shots, or coaching staff, SEND THEM TO US at journal@niscaonline.org with PHOTOS in the subject line. Label and spell names correctly, specify date, venue, and event. We will be happy to plug your school, team and accomplishments!
Marketing for the NISCA Journal
Have a marketing or sales background? We could use your help with gathering advertising for the Journal and website. Contact Dana Abbott at journal@niscaonline.org if you can help us out!
