Birthdays- No Food Treats
If you or your child brings in a food item, we will return it home with you. Thank you!
Testing Growth Reward!!
To help motivate students to do their best and show all that they know we are setting a building goal! Each grade level will be coming up with a special prize where if 50% of students meet or exceed their goal the grade will get a special treat!
How can you help your child reach their goal?
1. Ask your child:
-"What is your goal?"
-"What are you doing to improve your MAP score?"
-"What are you doing in class to help you reach your goal?"
2. Practice with your child:
-Have students read to you or to a sibling
-Practice quick math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication division depending on grade level)
We understand that reaching goals are challenging, we want to make sure we celebrate the students that work hard and accomplish the personalized goal!
NIEMAN AND DISTRICT INFORMATION
Please, help us help YOU! Morning car loop expectations.
- ALL cars must pull ALL the way up.
- Students should have their coats on and items collected before you stop/park in order to exit their vehicle in a timely manner.

Valentine Party Visitor Sign Up!
We are going to continue the process to pre-register for our Valentine's Day Party!
THIS FORM WILL ONLY ACCEPT RESPONSES UNTIL SUNDAY FEBRUARY 12!
As you all know, adults must go through the Raptor system in order to enter the building. We have the ability to pre-sign in visitors who have used the system before. If you are planning to attend the winter parties please sign up below.
- So long as you have been signed into Raptor before we will be able to pre-print you your sticker so that you are ready to go and do not have to wait in line.
We are also going to utilize this form to note who will be taking their children home with them after the party to help with less dismissal confusion. So please indicate that information as well.

The dates have been updated for the remainder of the year. Ms. Claudia has been blown away at the amount of interest students have had in learning to knit. YEARBOOK DESIGNER NEEDED:
Nieman PTA is in search of a Yearbook Chairman. Our current chairman: Sommer Saunders is finishing out her last year as her youngest child is in 6th grade. Sommer would love to find someone to help her this year to take over starting the 23-24 school year. Without a Yearbook Chairman, there will be no yearbook for families and staff, so if you love to design, be creative and want to keep these school memories documented for families and staff this might be the perfect position for you! The Yearbook Chairman must also be a paid Nieman PTA member. If you are interested or would like more information, please contact Sommer at PTAmom81@gmail.com
Repeated Information
Gum Free School
We have noticed a lot of mis-use of gum within the building. We have found gum on the floor, under tables and on desks. In order to keep our students safe from illness, we are going gum free. Please share this information with your child(ren). We will do the same at school.
Thank you for your support!
