Positive Shoutouts
Check Out Who's Been Getting Calls
As of 3/16:
- Kindergarten - 31
- 1st grade - 37
- 2nd grade - 35
- 3rd grade - 76
Don't forget to give our kids a positive phone call. All staff should be making calls, it doens't matter if that child is in your class or not. If you recognize something extraordinary or great for that child, please give that parent a call and brag on their child.

Operations (safety, maintenance, construction, transportation, child nutrition)
- Parents that are sending notices of absences through the remind app will count as a parent note but, teachers MUST screenshot the message and send it to Lori Woods immediately.
- If you know that you have not sent messages that have been received via remind, please get them to me asap so that I can correct this in PS.
- Thanks so much for your attention to this matter
Ice, Ice, Baby (Message from the Cafeteria)
- The ice cooler that is provided in the cafeteria is for adult use only. The health inspector had me get rid of the metal pan that the scoop was in, and said to just have the scoop standing up right with the handle sticking up out of the ice. Teachers, please do not have students come get ice for your cups. I have caught these students, numerous times, pouring ice in used cups, getting too much ice, then pouring the ice back into the cooler for the next person to use, and then just laying the scoop in the ice with the soiled handle in the ice. When this is noticed, we have to empty the cooler, clean it, sanitize it, and refill the cooler to keep clean ice in it for your use. Thank you so much with your help with this.
