It's hard to believe that next week marks week 6 of our distance learning! I hope you are all doing well! Remember to reach out to us if you are struggling with the distance learning site, Google classrooms, etc. We are here to help you!

Next week is our first ever Virtual Scholastic Book Fair! Please see below for some information and order some books for your child, if you would like! It all starts on Monday, April 20!

District Updates

Parent Contact Information

Beginning next week, we will be sending our campus newsletter via email using your preferred email in Parent Portal. If you have been receiving district email updates, no action is necessary. If you have not been receiving district updates via email, please click here to update your preferred email in the Parent Portal. It will take up to 24 hours for our system to update.


Technology Helpline (Updated Hours)

We are amending the hours of the direct technology helpline created for Life School parents and students. Please use the helpline for emergency situations and continue to reach out to your teachers and campus for all academic related requests.

  • Monday - Friday 8am – 5:30pm


Meal Services

Food service will continue to offer multiple days worth of meals on Mondays and Wednesdays from the Life School Lancaster campus only. Please click here to view the meal distribution schedule along with menu offerings for the week.

Virtual Scholastic Book Fair

We are excited to announce that even with school closed, we are able to host a Virtual Scholastic Book Fair starting next week - Monday, April 20th through Sunday, May 3rd! This is a wonderful opportunity to get some new books during this time of being at home while still supporting our school! Orders $25 and over ship for FREE, and they will be delivered right to your home. Remember to shop through the Life School Scholastic page at: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/lifecharterschoolredoak for the school to receive funds that support our teachers' resources and books for our library! We hope you enjoy the virtual book fair and your new books!

Life School Virtual Spirit Week

Check out our campus Facebook page this weekend for information on next week's virtual spirit week! We are incorporating Earth Day and Arbor Day in our spirit week, so it's going to be a lot of fun! We hope to see you all participating with us!

Sam Houston State is in our college spotlight this week. Located just north of Houston in Huntsville the Bearkats are the 3rd oldest University in the state of Texas. Many of the 21,000 students attend Sam to focus on criminal justice studies and psychology. Visit: https://www.shsu.edu/ for a complete list of studies and how to become a Bearkat.
