Two Weeks Left to Register for the Youth Writing Festival South
Join us for the Spring Youth Writing Festival (grades 6 - 8) in a southwestern locale! Set for Friday, March 2, 2018, at Riverbend School in Pacific, students will participate in three break-out sessions and experience an open-mic sharing celebration.

Still Accepting Applications for 2018 Summer Institute
In Summer 2018, we will offer two summer institutes—one at the UMSL main campus and one at our outreach site at Jefferson College. We will also be pairing this on-site 6-hour graduate class with another 12 hours of online and/or hybrid classes to finish out an 18-hour Graduate Certificate in the Teaching of Writing.
You are our best advertisement, so please share this flyer far and near--and don’t forget about your content area colleagues! The summer institute is richer when we have cross grades (elementary-college) and cross discipline teachers. We appreciate any help you can provide in helping us spread the word!
Thanks for helping us build the next cadre of TCs!
