Alan Turing
A man with a dream
Alan Tiuring was born on 23rd June, 1912. He studied mathematics at Cambridge university as a young man, that was were he first had the idea of a machine that could think, and solve mathematical problems. In 1938, he began to work part-time for the British cryptanalytic department. On the outbreak of war, Turing took up full-time work at it's headquarters, in Bletchley Park.
