Above and Beyond
Each week, we like to acknowledge staff members and supporters who go above and beyond their call of duty for PJSHS. Please help us appreciate Mrs. Sheridan for all of her hard work representing the students and staff through these challenging last few months. Although the coming school year is fully defined yet, Mrs. Sheridan will continue to give 110% to ensure that our school will be open to supporting students in the fall.

While we have been focused this week on ending this school year and preparing for 20-21, we would be remiss to not discuss the unrest that is going on across our nation with the #BlackLivesMatter movement. Think about the conversations that would be happening in classrooms if we were in our physical schools and the important role we play as educators in providing space for students to have conversations and learn about the experiences of others. While we aren't able to do this, there are a number of resources that have been put out for all of us to listen, learn, and grow. Laptop Check Out for Summer
Hello! Thank you for returning your school-issued device(laptop). It is important for annual maintenance to be done and cycling out devices to keep to current standards. If you would like to check out a device for continued learning over the summer, please contact your site administrator prior to June 17th. After requests have been received, if we are able to accommodate the requests, devices will be available for pick up the week of June 22nd. If devices are needed prior to June 22nd for 9th-12th grade summer school, please contact your site Principal to coordinate with our technology department.
PUSD Child Nutrition
Hello Plumas families. We are pleased to announce that we will be providing meals under the same pick-up and delivery schedule from June 1st - June 12th. We will continue to provide meals from June 15th - August 21st on a modified schedule. Information about the modified schedule will be sent out the week of June 8th.

Yearbook Update
YEARBOOK UPDATE:
As we all adapt to change, one thing that remains constant is the yearbook tradition of documenting the history of our students and our school year. We are pleased to announce that our yearbook adviser and staff have worked hard to complete the yearbook and make sure it is printed.
Since copies are limited and school schedules continue to change, we ask that you please order your yearbook online as soon as possible. Jostens offers a payment plan at checkout for your purchase if you would like to use that option www.jostensyearbooks.com.

HELLO Everyone!
First, thank you to all of you for your kindness and resilience during this unprecedented time. We are all readjusting our lives daily; I am sure you are doing the same. Jostens is trying to plan with rapidly changing variables. The latest update as we head into the height of our shipping season from Jostens management, as well as the Clarksville plant, is we are having greater than expected production impacts related to Coronavirus.
This will probably come as no surprise, but Jostens, as well as all entities, is struggling with our current ship dates due to the above restrictions. We are working as hard as possible and doing our very best, but we must always put safety and wellbeing first.
We will keep everyone posted when we have a delivery date for you. At this time, our best estimate would be in late June.
