Third Grade Thrills
October 15, 2015 - Mrs. Krogmann's Class
A Note from Mrs. Krogmann
Halloween is around the corner and we are planning some fun activities for the children to celebrate with! Please note that we are not having the traditional costume party. This is a whole third grade event and will take place throughout the day on October 30th. A sign up for treats and supplies went out yesterday. Thank you so much for all of your generosity! Your child may dress up as their word if they choose to or they can also dress in a simple costume for the day, but it must be safe and appropriate for recess and specials. We will not be changing into or out of costumes during the school day.
Are you looking for a way to volunteer? I am looking for someone interested in decorating our classroom door each month. We have large roll, paper, construction paper, dye cuts for letters and pictures that can be used to add to the door. Feel free to be creative! Pinterest is a fun place to get ideas. This opportunity would begin the first week in November, and we will switch the door each month. I am flexible with the time you can come in. If you are interested, please sing up on the site below. :)

- I will be out of the classroom to attend a conference with Merton colleagues tomorrow. The conference is called What Great Teachers Do Differently. I'm looking forward to learning some exciting things to bring back to the classroom. The speakers at this conference are phenomenal!
- October Book Orders are due on Saturday at noon.
