Harrison Happenings
February 9-13
This Week in Room 300...
This week we will continue to learn about composing and decomposing numbers. We will be doing some fun Valentine's activities to go along with it! We are continuing with our guided reading, and I am so proud of how hard the students have worked to become better readers. It is so important that they read for 15-30 minutes at home each night to continue becoming excellent readers. We have three new sight words for this week: you, has, & up. Please be sure to complete the lightning word notebook activities with you child each night. On Friday, we will celebrate Valentine's day by giving out Valentines to all of our friends!! In order for your child to participate, they must have good behavior this week.
Valentine's Day
To make it easier for students to pass out the valentines, you do not have to include names on the valentines. If you would like to include candy with your valentines, please make sure it is attached to the valentine.
We are excited about this fun activity for the students!
