Wow! It is Fri-Yay. Today we were able to celebrate our students for showing respect, courtesy, and great manners during the month of September. Your partnership with the school to teach the WHY behind school processes have been instrumental to our campus success. Thank you!
The Walking Feet Award went to Mrs. Brown's Kinder class and Ms. Hitt's 1st Grade class.
For the first time in my decade of awarding a Golden Broom, these awards went to grade levels. Fifth Grade and Fourth Grade is showing daily dedication to cleaning their classroom spaces and showing respect for their classroom environments. I am so proud of their leaderships and grateful for the burden lifted from our custodial staff. The custodial team is able to tackle cleaning our windows or tidying outside areas due to our students cleaning up after themselves.
The Golden Lunchbox was awarded to Second Grade! This grade level set themselves apart from the others with their table manners, respect for others, and keeping their voices at conversational level. Way to go!
I am excited to announce that Bear Creek has received two staffing increases. Our campus has gained a 3rd grade teacher and an additional special education teaching assistant. These positions will add value to our campus. My best hires have come from our community sharing the fliers. Please use the images below to announce this opportunity to join Bear Creek.

October 2nd-6th is National Walk to School Week! Join us for this fun community event and check out the many ways we need parents to help make this a fun and safe week.

Join us under the stars in the school courtyard for Family Movie Night on Friday, November 10th at 5pm. Entry and popcorn are free. Food will be available for purchase.
Bear Creek PTA is hosting a Spirit Day at Epic Fun on Monday, October 9th- a school holiday! Come by between 11am-7pm and Bear Creek will receive 20% of the play proceeds!
