Celebrating our SUCCESS!
ATHLETICS: We had several teams demonstrate considerable growth this Fall season. Most notably, a big congratulations goes out to our Boy's Varsity Soccer team-- coached by Allan Berry and Angel Mendez-- who made it to the first round of the 6A State Playoffs this year. Well done, players and coaches!
ARTS: This fall, four talented Raiders auditioned and were accepted to participate in OMEA's All-State Choir. Congratulations to sophomore Ava Gray, juniors Erin Reaney and Mya Vanderpool, and senior Justin Gurkin on this prestigious honor! And, a big shout out to choir directors Melissa Albert and Alyssa Paulson for all their hard work with all of our choir students.
ACADEMICS: In October, nearly 60 juniors and seniors were welcomed as new members of the RHS chapter of the National Honor Society. Students in NHS must maintain a 3.5 GPA and complete service projects to benefit the school and community. Great job to our NHS advisor, Tadd Reaney, for organizing a meaningful induction ceremony.
Keep up the great work Raider athletes, artists, and scholars! We're so proud of your accomplishments.
Spotlights and Resources
The Raider Report-- a Communication Tool for Students and Families!
Every three weeks, on Mondays during the POWER portion of the school day, all RHS students receive a Raider Report. The Raider Report is a communication tool that provides a snapshot of each student's current grades, absences/tardies, and GPA, all in one place. We use these documents to check progress, set goals, and ensure that student's remain On-Track for graduation.
Your student should have received their first Raider Report (on NEON Green paper) on October 23rd during POWER. The latest Raider Report came out on November 13th. If you're curious about your student's progress, you can ask to see their most recent Raider Report. And, as always, if you have any additional questions or concerns about grades or attendance, please reach out to your student's counselor and/or individual teachers, as needed.
