Water Availability
by: Drew & Sam
Worst Case Scenario
MIT researchers find that by 2050 more than half the worlds population will live in water-stressed areas and about a billion more will not have a sufficient water supply. Predict that 52% of the worlds projected population of 9.7 billion will live in water-stressed regions. Factors of this problem is growing population, growing cities and destruction of forests. Humans could plant more trees if they cut down trees.
Best case scenario
Concerns about water shortage and demand for growing population in cities, homes, factories and farming. By wasting less, polluting less, reusing more, managing efficient in all uses of water we can achieve higher water productivity levels and reduce water shortage. If we don't change our ways of using water now we will not have enough water to survive.
