House System
Webex Courtesy Code
As we work to navigate online learning, please talk with your student about online courtesy.
WebEx, our new video conferencing system, should be used for teaching and learning. While using this platform, please treat WebEx as if the following classroom expectations apply:
Visit the Teacher’s Schoology page to look over work/ assignments prior to entering the WebEx room.
Enter the room quietly and ready to work.
Limit the chat function for asking questions of the teacher.
Wait for the teacher to ask if you have any questions.
If you have outside noise in your home, use the mute option on your microphone.
Use school appropriate language and behavior. Dress appropriately as well! SDPC is recording all WebEx sessions.
Be patient with all students and teachers throughout this process.
While in the WebEx, be focused on the discussion (not playing games, on your phone, etc…). Be present with your classmates. Video should remain on whenever possible so that the teacher knows you are engaged.
Thank you in advance for helping to create a focused and productive learning environment for each other during WebEx sessions.
