Donations for a gift for our Special's Teachers

For the past couple of years a donation has been collected to purchase gifts for our Special's Teachers. These teachers are often overlooked during the holiday season as we focus on our classroom teachers but they are such an important part of our kids lives and deserve to be celebrated. We are asking for donations to purchase something nice for each of them. If you feel inclined to donate even a small amount please put in an envelope marked PTA/ Michelle Cardillo to be sent to the office. We ask that donations be sent in by Monday, December 18.

Wonder tickets

Have plans to see the movie Wonder? Perhaps it's on your list for the holiday break!? All December long, if you follow this link, Penny Road will receive $1 for every ticket sold! Share with family and friends! We can earn money from anyone seeing the movie, anywhere across the United States.

Books and Beyond

As the holiday break nears next week, make sure to make a plan with your Kindergartner and/or 1st grade child to read over the holiday and fill out the tracking sheets. Look out in your child’s folder next week for an update on how many sheets we have recorded. Please note that their may be a discrepancy if your child's classroom teacher has submitted any sheets. (This would mean we have record of more sheets).

Thank you for continuing to help foster a love of reading by participating in this great program! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out:

Teacher Luncheon

The next teacher luncheon will be the “Souper Salad Bowl!” All the teachers will represent their favorite football team and can judge the best soup or chili cooked by none other than our Penny Road Parents. This luncheon will be completely parent donated - and we know that we have some men out there with some awesome chili recipes too, so make sure that they know about the contest!

We will be asking for soups, chili & salads along with desserts and drinks. Please be thinking about what you would able to bring and we will make sure that we get the SignUp Genius out in plenty of time once we get back from the break.

Save the date! Friday, February 2 - Sweetheart Dance!
