West Indian Manatee

West Indian Manatees live in the shallow waters east of North and South America. They eat sea grasses growing from 2-50 ft. deep. Manatees tend to live near food.

Predators of the West Indian Manatee (W.I.M.) are alligators, sharks, and killer whales. Other marine carnivores are too small to eat a W.I.M.
