SURGICAL TECH
THE BACKBONE OF THE OPERATING ROOM
What We Do:
Surgical tech's maintain a sterile environment for a patient undergoing surgery. They also help aid surgeons and nurses to preform the task. The technicians are known to be on their feet for long periods of time and are exposed to diseases. The job requires someone with a strong stomach, because you never know what you're going to witness during surgery. Not only do you get to experience unpleasant smells, odors and materials, but your job will never be boring; you will experience something new everyday. The coolest thing though, is the fact you can go home each day knowing you've done something great, you saved lives.
