Book Tasting in the Media Center
Mrs. Smith's classes visited the Media Center for a book tasting! Her classes are reading the novel, Wonderstruck, and she wanted to introduce 4 additional novels for book clubs. The students watched short book trailers, tasted each novel, and then wrote in their menu about it. The bill at the end was to rank their top 3 choices.

Club Day- Wednesday, March 29th
We had our 3rd Club Day on Wednesday. We saw lots of great activities in fashion club, yoga, STEM, and martial arts.
Parent Strategy Night- Thursday, March 30th
Parents and students were invited to join teachers for engaging sessions highlighting the tools and instructional strategies that we use in Reading and Math classes.
Gateway Editing Day- Friday, March 31st
Mrs. Conley, Mrs. Kaemba, & Mr. Conley's homerooms edited their Gateway research papers Friday morning. EMIS staff and students from MHS will be helping our classes.

Respect and Understanding "How can I make a difference in my school"-5th Grade- Friday, March 31st
Joe Allen will be meeting with our 5th grade students. The primary purpose of this workshop is to build respect among students and to be proactive in our approach to combat bullying. Our goal is to promote a school culture of unity and strengthen relationships among teachers and fellow students.
Location- Gym
Mrs. Smith's Wax Museum- Friday, March 31st
Mrs. Smith's classes will be presented their Wax Museum Biographies. Each student selected someone to research and they will have to dress like their subject and give a presentation!
