BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING - TONIGHT, FEBRUARY 9, 2023

The next Board of Education Meeting will be tonight, Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. Board meetings will continue to be streamed live and can be accessed on the website prior to the start of the meeting at www.sbschools.org.


We welcome and invite anyone who would like to make a public comment at any of our Board of Education meetings to please attend the in-person meeting. Although not required, the Board requests that residents who are interested in speaking at a Board meeting register with the Board Secretary's office prior to the meeting by calling (732) 297-7800, extension 3110 or by emailing marcia.garitano@sbschools.org. Residents will be heard during the portion of the meeting designated for public comment.

ELEMENTARY FIRST SEMESTER REPORT CARDS HAVE BEEN POSTED

The first semester elementary report cards were posted to the Genesis Parent Portal. Please log-in to review your child's report card. We recommend that families print and retain a copy of the report card for their records.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK PARKS AND RECREATION NEWS - KidzArt - Grades 1 - 5

South Brunswick Parks and Recreation announce a KidzArt program at the South Brunswick Community Center, Woodlot Park, 124 New Road. The Wednesday program is for 6 weeks from 5:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m. KidzArt introduces students to various mediums such as color marker, pencil, pastel, watercolor, charcoal, and clay. KidzArt impacts children’s lives by sparking their creative process in other areas as well. Registration has started. Space is limited! SBHS FUTURE EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION TO HOST ART AND MUSIC SATURDAY MORNING MANIA - GRADES K-5

The South Brunswick High School's Future Educators Association will be hosting an Art and Music Saturday Morning Mania. This event allows students to experience different art forms that they may not be able to in school with different activities and getting to show their musical talents. Crossroads South will be presenting Disney's Newsies The Musical on Friday, February 10th at 7:00 p.,m. and Saturday, February 11th at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are $10. Snow Date: Sunday, February 12th at 1:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! THE EFSB ADULT SPELLING BEE CHALLENGE IS BACK!!

The Education Foundation of South Brunswick presents the 2nd Annual Adult Spelling Bee Challenge on Thursday February16th! “Bee" there as teams of teachers, staff,and PTO board members, from South Brunswick schools compete to "BEE" spelling champions!
