Dear Robert Hunter families,
We had a great week at RH! First grade students in Mrs. Ewing, Mrs. Salazar, and Mrs. Hansen and Mrs. Hendricks’ classes led our whole school March assembly. This assembly was based on our whole school read-aloud, The Boy Who Grew a Forest. This book tells the incredible story of Jadev Payeng, who single handedly planted a forest in India. Our 1st grade students did a great job presenting and singing about how we can protect our Earth, getting us excited for Earth celebrations in April.
This upcoming week, we recognize both School Librarian Day and Paraprofessionals Day. We want to give a special shout out to our wonderful school librarian, Mrs. DiBetta who does so much for our school community! We also want to extend our appreciation to our fantastic teacher assistants who work hard to support our students each and every day!
Please note that spring pictures will be taken on Friday. All students will take pictures, and you will have the option to purchase using the directions on the flyer below. Also, yearbook sales are due April 29th. Thank you again to our yearbook committee for putting together another great yearbook for all RH students!
Enjoy the weekend, and remember that RH skate night is April 3rd from 4:30-6:30!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Glaab and Mrs. Braynor

2022-2023 Class Lists
Creation of class lists is an important responsibility that teachers, school counselors, and administrators take very seriously. A great deal of time and effort goes into creating classes which are well balanced academically and socially. Many factors are considered in making placement decisions. Because it is not as simple as placing a student with a teacher without considering all of the dynamics of each class and the individual and collective needs of the students, the Flemington Raritan School District does not honor parental requests for specific teachers. Parents may write a letter stating specific needs that their child has which may be considered when placing the student. The letter should state facts to consider and not request a teacher. Please submit any letters to Mrs. Glaab and Mrs. Braynor by May 1, 2022.
