Big picture

Math Carnival Test Prep

In math class, I have prepared a test prep carnival theme. Students can earn tickets for various things like participation, completing homework, showing their work, using multiple strategies to solve math problems, etc. After the Milestones, we will be having a CARNIVAL to celebrate how hard we worked. The carnival will include games, prizes and snacks! I have not finalized a day for this event but will need parent volunteers and possibly some help with supplies. Please be on the lookout for a date coming soon (through class dojo).

We are SO EXCITED! :)

Thanks,

Ms. Rice

Science & Social Studies

Parents,

I have sent home a Social Studies Milestones Study Guide with every 5th grade student. I would love for your student(s) to review this packet of key terms for 15 minutes nightly. This packet is a great resource for content covered the entire school year.

As far as Science, I have previously sent home a study guide, but may send another one home next week.

Students are encouraged to log on www.educationgalaxy.com for further review in all subject areas.

Thanks,

Dr. Campbell
