Quick Bites
Just a quick FF today as I'm headed to Omaha after school to attend the Archbishop's Dinner for Education and I'll be out visiting businesses in Norfolk most of Friday....
Today is a Spirit Jeans Day to celebrate the (almost) end of Homecoming Week!
Hope to see you at the Lion's Club Parade on Saturday! Both our HS and junior high bands march and our percussion ensemble (The Trash Can Band) will perform after the parade at Johnson Park.
Please continue to support our parish and school as stewards in our community. We will all be receiving a letter in the mail in a couple of weeks, reminding us of our stewardship responsibilities as Catholics. This is much more than buying Red Wheel frozen pizza and putting money in the collection plate at Mass. We need your time and talents as well. I know you already give these things to us, but let's show our community that we will continue to Do Something, long after this year's song has been replaced.
If you already do a lot of "extras" for our school and parish, please consider doing a little more; if you do some extra things for our school/parish, please consider doing a little more; if you don't do much extra for our school/parish, please consider doing a little more. Let's make Stewardship the way of life here at St. Mary's Parish.
Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!
