A Message From The Principal
We have successfully made it back through a solid week of school with students/staff being in the building. All students should be attending in person unless they have been given permission to remain virtual by school administration.
Students have been scheduled into new classes for rotation 7 and will begin those classes this coming Monday. We are still following the 2 class rotation model and students have an opportunity to earn additional credits depending on their pace. Remember earning credits are one of the many graduation requirements.
Summer school registration will open up for all high school students March 1st. Students may access the link through their school emails. Students should reach out to our guidance counselor for information on what classes they should enroll in. Summer school is free to all Warren Students.
Friendly reminder that we are continuing to follow social distance policies in attempt to keep students and staff safe. Students are to wear face coverings while in the building at all times. Within classrooms furniture/desks have been strategically placed to allow a minimum of 6ft between students and staff. We continue to sanitize before and after students leave the classroom to ensure a sanitary learning space. Please remind students that they should be bringing Chromebooks to and from school to avoid having to share with other students. Lastly, I ask that students self screen each morning and if running fever or not feeling well remain home and notify the school.
Students are either following an AM or PM schedule and again expected to attend in person unless other arrangements have been made. If you have questions about your student's schedule do not hesitate to reach out directly to the school at 317-532-2996.
Stay Well!
AM Schedule
Period 1 9:00-10:15
Period 2 10:16-11:55
PM Schedule
Period 3 1:00-2:40
Period 4 2:41-3:55
If you have questions on whether or not your student is an AM or PM student please reach out directly to the school at 317-532-2996 or email our Guidance Counselor Ms. Nassar at jnassar@warren.k12.in.us.
As always thank you for allowing me to serve your students.

Deans Corner ...Message from Mr. Z
As we get settled into the semester after not being in school for so long, I want to go over somethings that are important for the success of all students.
It is important that all students and parents familiarize themselves with the Student Success Handbook. I have attached a link that will give you direct access to it. If there are any questions, please feel free to reach to me at your convenience.
I want to emphasize the importance of attending school on a regular basis. If you are not going to be in school a parent or guardian must call the office in order for it to be excused. It is equally important to arrive on time at school. Tardies will begin to add up and have a negative impact on students’ academic growth.
Finally, please remember we are here to support all of our students in any way possible and to do our very best to put all of them in a position to be successful.
Best Regards,
Mr. Z

Social Work Corner...Message From Ms. Dodson
From the Desk of the Social Worker…
HerSTORY as we enter Women History Month
March is Women’s History Month. This month we will be celebrating their achievements as leaders and sheroes. The revolutionary words Angela Davis spoke, the record-breaking feats of Wilma Rudolph and the glass ceiling-shattering efforts of Shirley Chisolm paved the way for black women and girls across the country to dream big and act courageously.
Now fast forward to 2020-2021, we have another revolutionary Stacey Yvonne Abrams an American politician, lawyer, voting rights activist, and author who served in the Georgia House of Representatives from 2007 to 2017, serving as minority leader from 2011 to 2017.
Ava DuVernay was the first black woman nominated for a Golden Globe for best director for her movie Selma. Her documentary 13th was nominated for an Oscar this year. She's also the first woman of color to direct a live-action film with a budget exceeding $100 million (A Wrinkle In Time).
Kamala Devi Harris is an American politician and attorney serving as the 49th vice president of the United States. She is the United States' first female vice president, the highest-ranking female official in U.S. history, and the first African American and first Asian American vice president.

District Covid-19 Data
MSD Warren Township COVID-19 data will be updated and shared each Friday on our district website which can be accessed HERE. Included in this data are the number of positive cases by school/facility as well as the total number of individuals (students and staff) who were required to isolate or quarantine. Individuals that are in isolation may or may not have COVID-19 and may or may not have been exposed within Warren schools/facilities. Isolation and quarantine are used to slow the spread of COVID-19.
**These numbers do not mean that a school or facility is unsafe for students and staff, rather that precautionary steps are being taken to protect all students and staff. We will continue to communicate with staff and families if they are identified as a close contact to a positive COVID-19 case.

New Student Information System-- Synergy
Warren is excited to announce that we have upgraded to a new student information system called Synergy. This means that our old parent portal, Tyler, will be going away. Instead, the parent portal will be upgraded to Synergy’s ParentVUE. ParentVUE is an online tool to help you monitor your student’s education. It allows you to update contact information and provides you with access to the latest information about your child’s attendance and scheduling. Our middle and high school families can view class assignments, report card grades, and course history with ParentVUE.
Once ParentVUE is available, parents who have a previous Tyler account will receive an email with instructions about setting up your new username and password. If you do not have a Tyler SIS account, please complete a registration form located on our parent portal webpage and return it to your school to begin the process of activating your account.
ParentVUE is a great way to stay connected with your student's school and track their academic progress. It also helps us stay in contact with you!
Chromebooks! Please Bring Your Device Daily!
In an attempt to keep students safe we are asking that students bring their individual devices from home to school daily. There will be no sharing of Chromebooks. Chromebooks will not be available in classrooms. Students will need to bring their devices, charging chords, and cases everyday to school.
