TERM 2 BEGINS

Can you believe we've made it through the first term!?!? Yet, here we are, starting Term 2 today. This is a great opportunity to re-commit to doing your work and getting the grades you want to receive!

We encourage you to stay on top of your grades, and don't be afraid to use our After School Intervention Time (T-Th from 2-3:00pm) to get help from your teachers!

Big Thank You From DFJHS D&D Group

We wanted to publicly thank Caitlyn Hair for her extremely generous donation to our Dungeons & Dragons After School Group. Caitlyn donated enough sets of dice for each member of the group (about 50-60 sets). What a wonderful gift to this group! Thank you, Caitlyn!

This year there will be a girls team, duals, tournaments and all-girls practices. All 9th graders who will attend MMHS are welcome to join the team. There will be a parent/Athlete meeting on Nov 2nd @ 6pm in the MMHS team room and the season starts Nov 9th. Questions call Billy 801-783-7978 or email 12BillyCox@gmail.com

AFTERNOON TEACHER HELP TIME

We want to ensure that all our students (and parents) are aware that our teachers are available to help our students each week. Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday teachers are here to support students from 1:55-2:45! Whether it is a test re-take, a make-up test, a missing assignment or just a question, your teachers are here to help!

We encourage all our students to make good use of this time! You are welcome to stay after on your own accord, or we may invite you to stay. Either way, we want to help you!

EARLY OUT ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES

We mentioned a couple weeks ago that we would be developing several "ENRICHMENT" activities after school for students who would like to be involved. Those plans are being finalized, and we wanted to share them with you. These activities will change periodically (some change from week to week, others will not change for a month or so) but this gives you an idea of what the plan is. All enrichment activities require students to sign up (to limit number of students) ahead of time.
