STEM Education Week - December 7 - 13
This week (December 7th-13th) is Computer Science Education Week! In STEM, students have been learning about and reviewing the basics of coding. This week in class, they will be further exploring coding by doing a version of an Hour of Code activity. According to hourofcode.com, “The Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify ‘code,’ to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science.”
If your family would like to participate in an additional fun computer science activity next week, please see below and tune in to your local PBS station on December 10th from 7-8pm.
