Chandra Sparks Splond

Splond graduated from Ramsay High School in Birmingham, Alabama, and the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa with a degree in journalism. She will receive her master’s in secondary education with a focus on instructional design and technology in December 2017 from Samford University. Splond is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and resides in Birmingham with her family, and they are members of Forty-fifth Street Baptist Church.
