We LOVE our School Resource Officers

Last week our PTA recognized the service of the four Student Resource Police Officers that serve the North Gwinnett cluster. Officer Kenny Brown joined Mrs. Sprinkle on the morning announcements to talk about his job and to help students put a friendly face with a name. We appreciate these officers and the work they do to keep our schools safe!

Please make plans to come and see the Riverside Drama Club's performance of "101 Dalmatians Kids" at the North Gwinnett High School theater. It is going to be an amazing show and tickets are on sale NOW online. Get your tickets early!

Launch Pad Success!

We have liftoff!

Ms. Davis and her students thank all the Riverside staff, students, and parents that have helped support the Launch Pad this year. It has been a huge success and we can't wait for lift off next year!

Bridging the Learning

5th grade students had the amazing opportunity to learn all about World War II via distance learning technology. Students interacted with an expert at the World War II Museum in New Orleans, Louisiana to dig deeper in their understanding of this important time in history. They were able to ask questions and interact with the guest speaker. This significant learning moment at Riverside gave students a glimpse into our country's history and revealed the critical and crucial significance that World War II had in shaping our nation.

All Pro Dad Breakfast

All Pro Dad had their May breakfast with a fantastic turnout of about 100 dads and kids. Attendees celebrated the academic accomplishments of all of the students and especially our rising 6th graders! The May topic focused on honesty and how being honest is a virtue that pays great dividends.

3rd Grade on the Trail

Check out these 3rd grade students on their field trip to the Elachee Nature Center. This STEAM-based environmental field trip provided students a hands-on learning experience about Georgia's animals, plants, habitats, and rocks!
