North Ellis County Outreach

non-profit Christian organization

In 2000, NECO was started by Mrs. Denise Butler, who is also the Executive Director of this organization. Serving the areas of Red Oak, Ovilla, Ferris, Oak Leaf and Glenn Heights, the Outreach has a friendly atmosphere where smiling faces are ready to lend a helping hand. Partnered with approximately 25 churches, many individual donations, TXU Energy Assistance Program and the North Texas Food Bank, 100% of donations benefit the clients seeking aid.

Denise - Executive Director

"Being the Executive Director, I have the responsibility of over seeing every aspect of this program. I love being apart of something that changes people's lives. I am content that God placed me in this position to serve others in this way."

Cammie - Client Assistance

"Working here at NECO has been a live changing experience. I have seen people in their worst moments of life, struggling to make it on their own. It's shocking sometimes, but live happens, and things happen for a reason. I am beyond blessed to help be a big part of the help our clients receive."

Brec - Client Assistance

"Only being a part time worker here at the Outreach, I excel in seeing the real life situations and what my job really mean. It's hard sometimes to balance the college life and maintain the ability to provide service to people in need, but it's worth every second. Seeing every aspect of life's hardest moment and smiles on our clients faces when we can help them get back on their feet is satisfying."
