Everyone experiences stress and anxiety from time to time. Stress is any demand placed on your brain or physical body. People can report feeling stressed when multiple competing demands are placed on them. The feeling of being stressed can be triggered by an event that makes you feel frustrated or nervous. Anxiety is a feeling of fear, worry, or unease. It can be a reaction to stress, or it can occur in people who are unable to identify significant stressors in their life.
Is your child dealing with stress and anxiety. Are you having daily struggles and really do not know where to go from here?
Join us for a discussion on stress and anxiety. We will talk through what this may look like and help with some strategies that parents can use to help their child be successful.

Pink Out in Conjunction with CheerFair
Blair Oaks Cheerleaders are hosting a "PINK OUT" in conjunction with CheerFair on October 25th. The theme for this year's CheerFair is "REAL FALCONS WEAR PINK - FIGHTING TOGETHER". A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the shirts will go to help fight cancer.
CHEERFAIR PARTICIPANTS:
Girls in grades K-8 are invited to join high school cheerleaders to perform at half-time of the football game on Friday, October 25th, versus California. The game starts at 7:00 p.m. An announcement will be made for the girls to meet at the scoreboard side of the track prior to half-time. All participants are free to leave at the conclusion of the performance. A practice will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd, from 3:15-4:30 p.m. in the Elementary Gym. Registration is $15.00 per student and includes the student's pink t-shirt.
ALL OTHERS:
Everyone is invited to order a pink t-shirt to show support for the "Pink Out". We hope to fill our halls and stadium with PINK to show support for family and friends who are battling cancer. T-shirts are $10.00 each (additional charge for larger sizes).
