Ms. Wittmann's Peek at the Week
May 24-28
Dear Families,
Hello Families,
We have 3 weeks left together. We are winding down the school year. We are planning some fun end of school projects for your children in 3rd grade. Look for previously completed projects to come home soon. Your child will be excited to share them with you.
SNACK: Your children are hungry throughout the day. Please feel free to send your child to school with a healthy snack to eat. We will plan to allow students time to have a snack, if they brought one, during reading time in the morning and during writing time in the afternoon. If you are willing and able to purchase a store bought healthy snack for the whole class, we would appreciate it. Healthier snacks could include: pretzils, popcorn, animal crackers, cheeze-its, and fruit snacks. We could also use dixie cups to use for passing out snacks. Thank you for considering a donation.
MONTHLY HOMEWORK:
3rd Graders are asked to complete:
- May Reading Activities
- May Math Activities (Multiplication Fact Practice)
Please initial each activity that your child completes at home. At the end of the month, your child will bring the homework back to school for a treat.
Math fact cards will continue coming home for your child to use for fact practice. We have been making one set each day.
NO SCHOOL ON MEMORIAL DAY:
There will be no school on Monday, May 31 in observance of memorial day.
Have a wonderful week. I'm here if you have any questions or concerns.
Respectfully,
~Ms. Wittmann
