Hello CCA Families!

Welcome 2023!!!! I'd like to start by wishing all of you a very Happy New Year! I hope you were all able to have some restful and enjoyable time with family and friends over our long winter break. I know how valuable it is for all of us to get some time to reset so that we are fresh and ready for the start of 2023. I hope you are all ready to get back into the regular school routine and the start of our second semester - I know I am looking forward to it!

A couple of reminders to start the New Year:

• Students need to be in the building by 8:15am for advisory AND they're marked tardy at 8:30am. This is an integral time for their homeroom teachers to 'set the tone' for the day of learning ahead.

• If you haven't returned your intent forms (see additional information below) please do so immediately. Decisions on class sizes and open seats are directly connected to the number of returning students. I understand plans change, so thank you for prioritizing this response to our enrollment team.

Permission slips for tutoring have been sent home and must be returned by Friday. Please read the letter carefully as it will indicate the time available for your student to attend. Please complete the permission form at the bottom of the letter indicating if your child will attend or not and return to your homeroom teacher. Tutoring will start the week of January 9th. Reminders will be sent via email atthe end of the week , so please be sure that the email you include on your permission slip is the most current one.

Thank you to all our families who have filled out an Intent to Return form for the 23/24 school year. If you have not had a chance to fill out a form, you can do so digitally by clicking here. (If you already submitted a paper form please do not fill out the digital form.)

Thank you for all your contributions to the Teacher Holiday Gift Drive! We were able to gift all 64 CCA employees with a nice Christmas cash bonus.

Reminders for Home Games

--Students in K-5th, including siblings of players, MUST have a parent in attendance for supervision purposes.

--Girls games end between 4:15-4:30 and boys games end between 6:30-6:45.

--There is NO to spotty cell reception in the gym. Middle School students are unable to consistently receive texts during the game.
