CHEDDAR VALLEY POTTERY

This quaint little pottery offers a huge range - over 500 beautifully-decorated items - that ensure there's something for all tastes. Margaret & Stuart Slade have been enjoying their passion of making gorgeous pottery, since 1984. They make everything on site.

NUKUHAU SALTMARSH

The salt-marsh is a hop, step & a jump from Cheddar Valley Pottery. A local care group have created a superb area, complete with a picnic & viewing lookout over the harbour salt-marsh. Some 2km of paths & boardwalk take you out amongst the reeds & flaxes. Because of extensive predator control, there are healthy populations of the birds that make such milieux their home.
