THANK YOU to all the fantastic volunteers we’ve had in our classrooms, in our library, chaperoning field trips, and supervising our morning rope jumping! You are all super appreciated!

Fronteras Academic Policy Committee (APC) 2019 Board Elections

Fronteras Academic Policy Committee (APC) 2018 Board Elections

Our Academic Policy Committee board elections will take place at the end of April. There are currently two open staff seats and two open parent seats. You can find information about this year’s candidates below and under the Academic Policy Committee tab at the top of the page. Ballots will be available for pick up at the front desk April 22, 2019. Ballots not picked up will be sent home with your student on April 23, 2019. Voting closes at 3pm on April 30, 2019.

Spring School Pictures!

LifeTouch will be at Fronteras on Wednesday, April 10th to take spring school pictures. Extra forms are available at the front desk!

2019 Fronteras Talent Show!

Got talent? We want to see it!

The 2019 Fronteras talent show will be held on Wednesday, April 17th! Tryouts for the talent show will begin on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in the gym during lunch time. Two top performers from each class will be chosen for the talent show. For more information please contact Sr. Onfray at or Mr. Neilson at!

Yearbook News!

The yearbook staff is looking for photos to include in this year’s yearbook! If you have photos of class projects/events, sports, field trips, etc., that you would like to submit, please email them to by 4-14-19. Also, don’t forget that you can customize your purchased yearbook! Log into TreeRing and submit your pages by 4-14-19. Thank You!

Thank you to the Reynolds family for bringing in their 3-week-old piglets to share with us! Did you know that a pig's squeal can be as loud as 115 decibels? That’s 3 decibels higher than the sound of a supersonic airliner!

Did You Know?

It takes between 500 and 600 hours and up to six months to spin, dye, and weave a traditional Peruvian poncho. Peruvians generally receive one poncho upon becoming an adult and it is expected to last a lifetime. Nearly every weaving technique known today was invented by Peruvians – and all of them were invented by 3000 B.C..
