## Week at a glance

**Don't forget to bring in canned items for our food drive. They are due no later then December 09, 2014**

Last week of instruction before Break! (You still have classes next week, but it will be midterms and review)

This week we will be finishing slope. We are working on parallel and perpendicular lines. This is our last unit before Winter Break. Don't forget that there are only 2 weeks left of this quarter. You should have NO outstanding make-up work at this time. ALSO, turn in your work on-time, there is no extra time between now and break for you to fall behind.

Next weeks smore has your exam schedule on it!

For Freshman: Here is a link to the Freshman FB page. Please like it so you can stay up to date with activities, meetings and pictures. Don't forget to share the link with your Freshman friends!

Biology/US History EOC Make Up (RM 119-120)

For classes and students that have not done it yet, before you leave today, please make a note on a sticky note of one accomplishment you have and post it on the wall by the door.

Today we will be looking finding slope and then finding the slope of a parallel and perpendicular line.

Homework:
Find slope of a parallel and perpendicular line
1.) (2,-4) and (5,1)
2.) (0,3) and (-2,-6)
3.) 5x-5y=10
4.) -2x+y=2
5.) y=(3/4)x-2

Determine parallel, perpendicular, or neither
6.) y=2x+1
2y=-x-1
7.) 4x-y=2
8x-2y=-6
8.) 2x-3y=6
(8/3)x-4y=4
9.) -5x+3y=2
3x-5y=15
10.) 7x+2y=14
7y=2x-5
