Say Something and The Sandy Hook Promise
Sandy Hook Promise was founded in the aftermath of the tragic mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary on December 14, 2012 that claimed the lives of 20 first-graders and six educators. PUSD has joined the Sandy Hook Promise to improve school safety. The mission of Sandy Hook is to educate and empower youth and adults to prevent violence in schools, homes, and communities. Here is a Brochure that provides additional information about the program and how to report. We will be training all students 6th-12th grade on the reporting system the week of March 20th. We will also be communicating the reporting system with parents, staff and community members prior to training students.

PUSD Data Protocol Sorting Data
The link below will take you to a slide show of the PUSD data approach. This is a data approach that we have been utilizing to unpack district assessments. This process allows us to use data to make instructional decisions and ensure we are meeting the various needs of students. This is something that we will be covering in our TCOE days with ELA, Math, and Science. As we continue to build assessments in other areas, we will cover this data approach.
