St. Louis Preschool
Letter Tt
We began the week with a focus on our teeth. We talked about healthy choices for our teeth and bodies and some of the foods and drinks we might want to consider enjoying in moderation. We watched a teeth brushing video and practiced brushing circles up, down and all around.
On Wednesday and Thursday our students worked with their sense of touch, putting together some tangibles to help describe things that feel rough, smoothy, hard, soft, bumpy or sticky.
Then it was on to our Teddy Bear Tea Party. Our students hosted their friends, as they set the table, served and poured. What a wonderful opportunity to practice manners, while we enjoyed this sweet moment in time.
On Friday, 4th Grade Buddies came to visit, helping us complete a darling St. Patrick's Day craft.

Kindergartner for the Day
We will enjoy time getting comfortable in the Kindergarten classrooms as we work alongside our Kindergarten friends together in their centers. We will also spend time getting to know both of the Kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Farmer and Mrs. Konradi.
Parents are invited to join in the fun too. We will be leaving Preschool at approximately 8:25/12:05 if you are able to join us.
Levi Nobbe is a Star Student
On Monday, Levi shared with us that he is 5 years old. He loves alligators and the color red. His favorite thing to eat in the whole wide world is red apples, sliced or whole, he loves them all.
On Wednesday, Levi shared with us his family picture telling us about his brothers. Levi is the oldest so we know he must have a lot of big brothering to do with little ones that must look up to him.
Finally on Friday, Levi shared his All About Me Bag. We loved seeing his remote control Police Car zoom. We closed out this special week with Levi's grandma as our Guest Reader. She shared a darling book that was all about Levi, which clearly must be special to the Nobbe family.
John Shaw is a Star Student
John is always very social in our classroom, always having a friend to play with. John loves to dance and he helps us helps cool up this place. He definitely helps keep it fun!
On Wednesday, John shared his family photo of the Shaw family. We talked about that although he call his parents Mom and Dad, we would call them Mr. and Mrs. Shaw. We giggled when he shared that his parents friends call them Ryne-Dawg and Whit-Dawg and we could all see from the picture, how much they all love each other.
On Friday, John invited his mom in to read with us the book, I Love You Through and Through. John's All About Me Bag included a basketball and a Bop-it game and Legos.
Thank you Mrs. O
It was so wonderful to share this time together with Zack and his grandmother.
Thank you Mrs. O.

Grab your shoes, get ready to move!
Each year families join us from all over, to help raise money in support our SLS Athletics Programs. Money raised helps maintain our amazing Athletic Center floor, funds the purchase of uniforms and equipment, pays for referees and busing for our 7th and 8th grade teams to away games and so much more.
If you need a reason to get moving this Spring, please join us for the 11th Annual Cardinal Crawl!
