Interactive Videos
Find out if the students are really "getting" what is in the video they are watching with any of these simple tools.
Start with a video found online, and then add questions in strategic sections for students to answer. The results are stored on the website for the teacher to review later. This is great for flipped lessons or for differentiated instruction.
All these tools have Google sign in and allow you to browse and use other people's video lessons.
Educanon
Find a video from YouTUbe, Vimeo, Google Drive and more, uplod it to educanon and begin adding questions in the video. Question types include: multiple choice, free response, reflective pause, check all that apply, fill in the blank, etc. When it is time for a question, the video stops and a question appears on the side bar for students to answer.
EDpuzzle
Choose videos from Youtube, National Geographic, vimeo, TEDEd, and others to begin with. Once you have chosen a video, load it up and crop it to the section you want to focus on. Question types are limited to open ended, multiple choice and comments. As students watch they have the option to rewatch a section in order to answer the question correctly.
TEDEd
This tool focuses on Ted-Ed, Tedtalks and YouTube videos. This one does not make you stop to answer the questions, the questions are available all the way through as well as discussions. There is a large library of pre-created lessons you can choose form as well.
