SEL Action Item - Random Acts of Kindness Week!
Color Your World With Kindness
This week, let us all color our school with kindness by engaging in random acts of kindness.
Before watching the video with your students, have a discussion to identify acts of kindness and the effect they have on people. Allow your students to share how they felt when someone did something kind for them. Each morning, begin the day by encouraging students to share an act of kindness for a fellow classmate from the previous day.
YouTube: Color Your World With Kindness
Suggestion: After each act of kindness in the video, pause and ask your students to describe the difference it made for others.
