Dublin Field Day 2016

Our Dublin Field Day will take place on Friday, May 20th. K-2 students will have their events in the morning from 9:10-11:20 AM. 3-5th grade students will have their events from 1:30-3:30 PM.


The PTA will preparing lunch for everyone that day and we will have our regular lunch hour at school. Lunch will consist of a hot dog, water, chips, and lots of veggies. If your son or daughter does not care for any of these items, they may bring a lunch. We will not be serving hot lunch that day from our Food Services Department.


We are in need of parent volunteers for the morning and the afternoon game events. If you can help, please click HERE to sign up.

Dublin 2016-17 Planning Form

We are busy planning for the 2016-17 school year. Please click HERE to print and complete our Dublin Planning Form if you WILL NOT be attending Dublin next year. This does not include students moving to middle school. The information you provide assists us in determining class sizes and the number of classrooms per grade level. Please complete this form as soon as possible and return it to us in our school office. Thank you for your help with this important task.

Kindergarten Activity Hour

We will be welcoming our new kindergarten students for the 16-17 school year with two Kindergarten Activity Hours on May 24th and May 26th. On May 24th the activity hour will take place from 9:45-11:15 AM. On May 26th, the activity hour will take place from 1:00-2:30 PM.


For both events, students will spend the first half hour on a bus ride, followed by an hour working with our kindergarten teachers. Parents will be invited to meet with Mr. Drewno for questions and to complete important paperwork for school. We look forward to seeing our new kindergarten students very soon!

Dublin Volunteer Tea

Please mark your calendars. We would like to show our appreciation to all of our volunteers at Dublin this year with a Volunteer Tea on Monday, June 6th starting at 9:15 AM in the Media Center. Light refreshments and entertainment from our students will take place during this Volunteer Tea. Please watch for an invitation and RSVP very soon for this event! Thank you!

PTA Ice Cream Social

Our PTA Ice Cream Social will take place on Friday, June 10th. from 6:00-8:00 PM. Please join us as we celebrate the end of an amazing school year! This event is for Dublin families.

19th Annual K-12 Art Exhibition

Come experience the 19th annual Walled Lake Schools K-12 Student Art Exhibition!


This year the show will be located at the Commerce Township Hall located at 8600 PGA Dr. in Commerce Township (off Martindale Dr. between Pontiac Trail and Oakley Park Rd.).


The artwork will be available for viewing from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM the week of May 23rd-26th.


An artist recognition celebration is planned for Wednesday, May 25th from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM to recognize the work of represented student artists, as well as the curriculum of the Walled Lake Schools Visual Arts Department. This event is open to the public so come and enjoy an evening of fine art and refreshments. You can even cast your vote for the work you feel most deserves honorable recognition and professional framing for display in the ESC building for the 2016/2017 school year.

Don’t miss this spectacular event!


The Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) Away interactive trailer will be at the Commerce Township Hall May 24th-25th from 3-7pm. Come enjoy artwork on display and interactive hands-on exhibits to be enjoyed by all ages.

Sunshine Academy 2016 Elementary Summer School

Presented by the Walled Lake Consolidated Schools

Literacy / Math Program For all learners who have JUST COMPLETED

Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grades


Classes are taught by certified elementary teachers in small classes.

Students will receive instruction in both literacy and math.


Registrations start 4/11/16 and are open until spaces are filled.

Student Council Spring Clean Up!

Wednesday, June 1st is our 5th Annual Spring Clean-Up at Dublin Elementary School. The event is sponsored by our Student Council and will last for approximately 90 minutes after school on that Wednesday.


We ask that ALL Dublin Families come out to help! We will meet out in front of the Dublin building by the Dublin sign and flag around 4:10pm. (Remember, the event is run by staff, so we will do our best to get outside following the school day).


All students remaining after school will need at least one parent with them to help at the event.


Bring your rakes, gardening gloves, shovels, weed pulling tools and energetic families to help make Dublin look even better than it already looks this Spring!

Preschool for WLCSD 3 – 5 year olds

ENROLL NOW FOR KINDERGARTEN!

Incoming kindergartners must be five-years-old on or before September 1, 2016.
Exception: According to Michigan Law, a child may be enrolled in kindergarten
if he/she is not five years of age on September 1, 2016 but will be five years of
age not later than December 1, 2016 and parent or legal guardian notifies the school
district in writing (Kindergarten Waiver Form) that he or she intends to enroll the
child in kindergarten.


Research indicates that developmentally appropriate full-day schedules benefit kindergarten children academically, socially and emotionally. Our principals and teachers understand this and are well equipped to meet the needs of our kindergarten students.


Our kindergarten students begin to learn a whole host of reading, writing and mathematics concepts and learning strategies that give them the foundation for a successful elementary school career in Walled Lake Schools.

Meet Up and Eat Up!

Walled Lake's Food Service Department presents its Meet Up to Eat Up Program this summer! The program starts on June 20th. We will be serving Breakfast at 8:15AM and Lunch from 11:00AM – 1:15PM. We will be operating Monday through Friday. We aren’t open on July 4th and our last day of the program is August 19th.



This program is available to all kids from the age of 1-18 years of age regardless of income (the do not have to be one of our students). Adult meal price will be $2.00.


This program will run at the Community Education Building in the lunchroom.
