Madison PTA Committee 2022-2023 Sign-Up Now Live

HEY MOMS & DADS! The Madison PTA relies on parent volunteers for activities and committees. We are asking for the generous contribution of your time. A new Sign-up Genius to volunteer for any/all opportunities is now available HERE.

Looking for a Few Good Volunteers

The PTA is in need of volunteers for a few key positions to kick off the new school year:

  • Communications (Need 4): Keep everyone up to date on PTA happenings by helping to manage our Google Apps (primarily Google Drive and email accounts) and website. Work closely with the Madison Memos editor and PTA Secretary to post important announcements to Facebook. Most of the website and Google updates occur over the summer/at the beginning of the school year.
  • Spirit Wear (Need 3): Influence the fashion of Madison students by coordinating the spirit wear shop - typically open at the beginning of the school year and again around the holidays. Coordinate the design, order, distribution and sale of Madison Spirit Wear.

We also appreciate any interest you have in the following committees! (To read more about each committee, visit the Madison PTA website HERE). You can either sign up for a specific committee or in an as-needed role, and we'll be in touch to help you find the right fit!

  • Art Appreciation

  • Battle of the Books & Jr. Battle of the Books

  • Beautification

  • Chess Club

  • DEI (Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion)

  • Explore More Day

It takes one WONDERFUL community to pull off all of the activities we did for the end of the 2021/2022. A huge thank you to all who volunteered time and resources for Explore More Day, 5th Grade Celebration and Field Day. Our kids' faces say it all - a great end to the school year. Special shouts to committee chairs: Denise Krohn (Explore More Day), Kelly Styrkowicz (5th Grade Celebration), Patrick Coffey (Field Day), Steve Laczo (Field Day) and Jeremy Malmstedt (Field Day).

If you LOVED these activities, sign up now to help next year!

Looking for a SIGN to Volunteer? Here's Your Chance!

The Madison PTA is exploring options to replace the school sign in the front of the building, which is designed to help share announcements with the community. We're looking for a volunteer who would be willing to research choices (electronic and manual signs) and help outline the steps of the process (e.g. permitting, installation, etc.). If you'd like to help, please email

ISO Madison Signs

We're so glad you love your Madison signs, but we try to reuse them from year to year. If you still have one, please return it to the PTA mailbox (inside the front office) so we can distribute them to new students in the fall. No questions asked ;)
