Don't forget to wear Red, White and Blue on Monday for Patriot's Day
A message from the Principal-Mrs. Bookman
To our Suffield Family,
This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our kindergarten students in smaller groups as they began their journey in school. We were truly impressed by their enthusiasm and adaptability during this transition period. Starting this upcoming Monday, our kindergarteners will attend school all day, every day. We want to kindly ask for your patience as adding more students to the school might result in longer car rider lines.
When dropping off your child, please ensure they are prepared to exit the car promptly when you reach the curb. A smooth drop-off process greatly contributes to the efficiency of our car lines. At the end of the school day, To assist our teachers in efficiently matching children to their cars, please keep your child's name card visible while waiting in the car line until your child is safely inside the car. Additionally, remember to make a RIGHT turn when exiting the driveway to prevent backups in the line.
Looking ahead to next week, we will be observing Patriot's Day on Monday, in remembrance of 9/11. We encourage both students and staff to wear Red, White, and Blue as a symbol of unity and patriotism.

Birthday Treats
At this time, we will allow Birthday Treats to be brought to school. We are required to inform you of the Healthy Eating Guidelines (see below) and suggest that you use this when selecting a treat. Whatever you choose, please note that all treats brought to school for the purpose of sharing with others, need to be prepackaged so we are able to know and see the ingredients list. There are many students who have a variety of food allergies and having the ingredients listed helps the school nurse determine if a student with allergies can eat a particular treat.
Student Medications
If you have medications that you need to have at school for your child, DO NOT send them to school with your child on the bus. Please bring them to school. The office is open from 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Please call the school if you have questions.

Suffield Elementary will now take part in recycling markers that no longer work. It’s a super easy project to help our environment!
