Happy Wednesdays Families! The end of the year is coming to a close. I am so excited to experience more of Steele Lane for the first time. Especially our Walk-a-Thon this Friday as well as Open House on May 19th. Events like these are important for our school community. Please remember during these events that masks are strongly recommended, especially if you are indoors and or close to others.

Our students are equally excited. Please help remind your students of our school rules, Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Kind. These four rules are important to our school in all areas of our campus. During recess, at the lunch tables, in our classrooms and even at home with you. Please also remind student the importance of keeping our hands to ourselves. I appreciate your support with such matters.

Next week is Classified Appreciation Week. These are our employees like the office staff, our yard duties and aides as well as our IMT, Librarian and food services workers. A simple note from yourself or your student to one of our staff can really make a difference.

We are excited to have our Walk-aThon this year on May 13th. The Foundation is accepting both cash/check and Venmo this year. We look forward to this opportunity for our students and staff.
