Lincoln Bulletin-
This week was a full week of learning, excitement, and celebrations. We kicked off our word of the week. Lincoln community is kicking off our schoolwide focus on vocabulary. We know that increasing students' use of words and increased knowledge of vocabulary helps with reading, writing, and better overall communication. This weeks word was WALK, students used this in sentences, made compound words (Boardwalk, Sidewalk etc.) and found it in their reading this week. We even had a schoolwide celebration for our first 100 PAWS earned and took a walk to a local park with grades 3-5, 2nd grade will go next week during lunch and recess. ADK and First grade took part in a maker recess where they made card board forts, buses, and spaceships during recess today!
Below are some quotes from some of our Lincoln Leopards on the past weeks events, including our celebrations, buddies, and learning.
